We launched the book “Choices From the Heart: A collection of Stories” on Thursday 18 November at our Sparechair Cafe 10 Derby St Kew. Here at KNLC we are passionate about soical inclusion and for a long time have wanted to document the stories of the many amazing people in our localcommunity living with mental ill heatlh. As is well documented 1 in 5 Australians are affected by some form of mental ill health each year. Through a grant form Kew East Community Bank- Bendigo Bank we were able to employ Anne Carson, an accomplished writer and poet, and member of our KNLC team to undertake the project.
